Form of workAssists the pharmacist in preparing and dispensing medications to patients and patient care areas. Identifies, prepares, packages, labels and delivers medications, including sterile products, under the supervision of a pharmacist on third shift. Makes recommendations to pharmacy management on changes to par levels of the Anesthesia ADM's in a weekly report. Provides a monthly discrepancy summary of the Anesthesia ADM's to pharmacy management. Evaluates changes to locations of medications in the Anesthesia ADM's taking into account Patient Safety guidelines for Look Alike-Sound Alike medications and reports recommendations to pharmacy management.
Education
High School Diploma or Equivalent (Required)
Trade School: Pharmacy Technician Training Program (Preferred)
Experience
1 Year experience as a Pharmacy Technician (Required)
License/Certifications
CPHT - Certified Pharmacy Technician (Required)
