Pharmacy Technician

Insight Global is searching for a Certified Pharmacy Technician to join a client’s team in Waltham, Massachusetts.

Day To Day:

This individual will work on a team of Pharmacy Technicians, pharmacists, operations managers and consultants. The Pharmacy Technician position is responsible for assisting the Pharmacists in filling, coordinating, and distributing pharmaceuticals. Our client is looking for a dependable and responsible Certified Pharmacy Technician to make a difference in the lives of our residents in their long-term care and assisted living communities. The Woodmark Pharmacy is responsible for filling close to 2100-2300 prescriptions/day. The ideal individual for this job will have prior experience in retail and may have experience in a hospital or healthcare setting. The ideal candidate will have combined experience in data entry and production techniques. Job responsibilities include, but are not limited to: receives and restocks inventory upon receipt of orders from the wholesaler or manufacturer (except controlled drugs).Reorder’s products, utilizing the wholesaler’s computer as assigned. Ability to use TCGRX machines to fill cycle and new admit orders. Understands and interprets the Dashboard to have knowledge of what needs to go out on a delivery. This is a full-time onsite position.

Position Requirements:

• Pharmacy Technician License in MA
• 1+ years of experience in retail pharmacy
• HS Diploma

Preferred Qualifications:

• Knowledgeable in long term care
• Recent hospital pharmacy experience

Schedule: Rotating shifts (7am-3pm, 2pm-10pm on weekdays; 9am-5pm on weekends); Rotating weekends but can be flexible
