Minimum Qualifications:

• High School graduate or successful completion of GED
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Professional time management skills
• Covid-19 Vaccinated
• Nicotine Free

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

• Demonstrates ability to problem solve and execute to achievement
• Demonstrates customer/client focus
• Skilled and able to demonstrate verbal and written proficiency in communications
• Proficient in multi-tasking and time management
• Proficient computer skills

PREFERRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

• Registered Pharmacy Technician with the Florida State Board
• Certified Pharmacy Technician
• Experience working in a medical office or pharmacy
• Experience working in a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC)

Essential Job Functions:

• Expedite the processing of prescriptions by performing all duties necessary and allowed by policy and law, in the preparation necessary prior to the filling of the prescription by the pharmacist
• Process all filing, accounting and bookkeeping functions determined necessary by the pharmacy manager
• Communicate with pharmacy manager on progress, procedures and policies of the pharmacy department
• Perform all the necessary functions and duties of a registered Pharmacy Technician under the direct supervision of the pharmacist
• Maintain inventory for the pharmacy and OTC area
• Adhere to all CHNWF policies and procedures as well as HIPPA regulations
• Serve as liaison between pharmacy, patient and health professionals by proving information and support as necessary
• Other tasks as needed to support the ongoing functioning of the organization.
