Pharmacy Tech I, Outpatient

FirstHealth's Outpatient Pharmacy seeks an energetic, detail-oriented individual to aid pharmacists and other staff in daily operations of running an outpatient pharmacy. Duties include (but are not limited to): process prescriptions through the pharmacy computer system (RX30); contact physician offices for prescription clarification when needed; assist with ordering and restocking of prescription and over-the-counter medications; assist customers at checkout; and provide guidance to patients regarding over-the-counter medications under the supervision of pharmacists.
Qualifications: High School Graduate or GED required. Management prefers previous outpatient (i.e. retail) pharmacy experience and Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) credential. Successful applicant must attain CPhT credential within 1 year of hire.
