The Pharmacy Manager is first and foremost responsible for guest relations and satisfaction. They will provide pharmaceutical care for all guests and team members in accordance with our mission statement: “Ultimate Service, Superior Performance, and Positive Impact”
Key Responsibilities:
When a guest enters my area or department, my first and most important responsibility becomes to acknowledge, greet, and engage that guest.
Maintain integrity of pharmacy operations within the legal framework provided by the State Board of Pharmacy, Drug Enforcement Agency, Department of Public Safety and other governmental agencies in conjunction with the policy and procedure guidelines set forth by United Supermarkets.
Ensure completion and compliance of goals, tasks, standards, and other job related criteria assigned to the pharmacy.
Maintain open communication with pharmacy staff to ensure continued growth, development, education and compliance with evolving pharmacy operations.
Oversee every aspect of the pharmacy operation including dispensing, counseling, scheduling and supervision of technicians, participation in clinical programs including immunization administration, inventory management and control, and overall financial performance and contribution of the pharmacy department.
Ensure the communication and integration of pharmacy service into total store.

Key Requirements:
BS and/or PharmD Degree from an accredited school of Pharmacy
Prior Pharmacy Management experience preferred
Registered Pharmacist by the State Board of Pharmacy with license in good standing
Preceptor by the State Board of Pharmacy
Immunization certification
Excellent problem solving and management skills
Basic accounting and computer skills
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Be able to perform all physical aspects of the position, such as bending, standing, squatting, climbing and walking for 8-12 hour period
Ability to function as a team member and get along with others
Ability to accept supervisory coaching related to performance, work habits and attitude
