Job Summary and QualificationsThis position supports the mission of Presbyterian/St Luke's Medical Center of optimizing the quality of life of all those served by expanding beyond the traditional focus on medical needs to the needs of the whole person. Under the direct supervision of the Pharmacy Director/Pharmacy Operations Supervisor, and the day-to-day direction of a registered Pharmacist, performs technical functions regarding pharmaceutical preparation and distribution. These activities include but are not limited to: unit dose cassette fill, unit and Physician order fill, label production and IV admixture, charge reconciliation of patient billing documents, audits supplies on nursing units, and preparation of medications. May be involved in preparation and stocking of medications for automated dispensing cabinets on nursing units. May stock and distribute other pharmacy supplies. May provide drug consultation to patients, physicians, nurses and hospital personnel based upon experience, yet under the direction of a staff pharmacist. When need arises, will perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.

What qualifications you will need:
- Licensed Pharmacy intern by the Colorado Board of Pharmacy.
- Enrollment in at least the first professional (i.e. 3rd college year) of an accredited school of pharmacy is required.
- Demonstrates functional and technical skills commensurate with pharmacy training required.
- Involves general guidance and direction by the Pharmacy Director and the Operations Supervisor. Employee will be expected to perform most job duties independently and in accordance with established departmental and hospital policies and procedures.
This role requires you to be fully vaccinated for COVID-19 based on local, state and /or federal law or regulations (unless a medical or religious exemption is approved).
