Job description

Primary Responsibilities
Procure, store and aid in the dispensing of medications and pharmaceutical supplies related to both patient and departmental needs. To prepare for a future role as a pharmacist by combining knowledge of pharmaceuticals with technical and clinical experiences learned during the internship program.
Essential Functions
Participates in the medication distribution system within TJUH. Prepares parenteral products using aseptic technique. Assures the provision of quality pharmacy services. Interacts with co-workers, visitors, and other staff consistent with the core values of the Hospital.
Qualifications
Educational / Training Requirements
College Diploma Pharmacy
Matriculating in an accredited college of pharmacy
Conditions of Employment
Covid Vaccination is a requirement for employment at Jefferson for employees working at Jefferson's clinical entities or at the University.
