We have a full pharmacy, a retail gift shop, and a custom compounding lab. We are a friendly, fast-paced, and employee focused store. We aim to provide flexible scheduling and a positive work environment.
We are seeking a Pharmacy Intern. This is an ideal opportunity for a pharmacy student who is looking to learn more about custom compounded prescriptions. We'd also love for this opportunity to lead into a full time pharmacist job, that we are actively looking to fill in the coming months.
Job Responsibilities:
- Work in the compounding lab
- Assisting the Pharmacists with patient interactions
- Assist in Immunizations
- Handling medications for patient pick-up and mailing
- Answering phone calls and handling patient questions
Qualifications:
- Currently enrolled in a PharmD program
- High attention-to-detail and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Positive attitude and commitment to customer service
- Ability to respect and maintain customer confidentiality and protection of personal data
- Previous Pharmacy Technician experience preferred, but not required
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: From $15.80 per hour
