Overview:

To ensure all customers medical deliveries and pickups are delivered efficiently, effectively and safely via company vehicle and completing regular routine tasks inside the Radio-pharmacy.

All Radiology Services of Northern Virginia drivers must pass a D.O.T. physical, alcohol and drug screen, computer based training; upon being hired and every three years, thereafter. Employees must maintain a driver’s license; which has no more than -3 points on their driving history. All applicants must be 21 or older.

Job Description:

Radiology Services of Northern Virginia is currently seeking individuals to fill our Delivery Department.

The following responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Prepare and package various customers’ prescriptions for their patients on a daily basis.
• Efficiently organize delivery route on a daily basis
• Delivers radioactive medications and various other medical materials to specified points of delivery
• Perform daily Pre & Post inspection on vehicle
• Work independently and as part of a team
• Provide exceptional customer service and maintain appropriate communication with customers
• Consistently follow route and time sensitive deliveries

As a Delivery Driver the shifts for hire are:

Mon-Fri - 04:00 am-12:30 pm (Early A.M. Shift) Full-Time

Mon-Fri - 07:00 am-3:30 pm (Day Shift) Full-Time

Mon-Fri - 07:30 am-04:00 pm (Day Shift) Full-Time

All drivers are hired at a base hire rate of $15.50/hr. If you are considering working the early a.m. shift; this shift does come with a $.75 differential. When scheduled to work a weekend; Saturday and/or Sunday, there will be a $2 rate increase.

All Delivery Drivers must have the flexibility to work weekends and holidays. All Delivery Drivers are eligible for an increase, upon completion of a ninety (90) day probationary period. The Delivery Driver hourly shifts are non-negotiable for change.
