Basic Function
Responsible for assisting retail Pharmacy Customers with pharmaceutical and/or over-the-counter merchandise needs, questions and concerns within established corporate guidelines.
Duties
- Verify and prepare prescriptions accurately for customer pick-up.
- General knowledge of insurance plans, coverage and requirements.
- Assist with daily duties of Customer Service process to insure smooth operation of the Customer Service department.
- Assist the delivery technicians with delivery questions.
- Assist with distribution of over-the-counter merchandise.
- Assist with maintenance of the over-the-counter shelving to present a neat, professional image.
- Promptly assist customers with products and services.
- Provide quality Customer Service to the customer.
- Promptly answer multi-line telephone.
- General knowledge of all company products, services and locations.
- Act in a professional manner at all times to customers and other employees.
- Interact as needed with other departments and locations regarding products and services.
- Operate standard office equipment including:
- photocopy machine
- fax machine
- computer/printer
- postage machine
- multi-line telephone
- Keep work areas neat and clean.
- Comply with HIPAA policies and procedures.
- Comply with all company policies and procedures.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
