Pharmacist Program Manager at Strong Memorial Hospital, Outpatient Pharmacy

Responsibilities:

• Supervisory Leadership: Directly manage and supervise a functional area within the pharmacy department.
• Staff Coordination: Schedule and coordinate staff to ensure adequate coverage and workload management.
• Team Building: Participate in hiring decisions, employee satisfaction initiatives, and performance evaluations.
• Conflict Resolution: Handle conflicts professionally, confidentially, and with corrective action plans when needed.
• Interdepartmental Collaboration: Engage in interdepartmental meetings, projects, and policymaking to drive business success.
• Task Delegation: Delegate tasks effectively, establish clear expectations, and ensure follow-up on delegated duties.
• Data Management: Track and report workload statistics and operational data to support decision-making and performance improvement.
• Budget Management: Manage budget performance and contribute to budget planning for the supervised area.
• Clinical Duties: Perform Level II Outpatient Pharmacist duties as needed.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy or Pharm D preferred.
• New York State Pharmacy License.
• Minimum 5 years of acute care pharmacy practice experience.
• Minimum 2 years of progressive professional experience or relevant graduate degree.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $130,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year
