- $131,000 - $160,000 compensation DOE; salary will be higher for highly experienced candidates

As a pharmacist, some of your responsibilities will be to:
- Provide patient care as assigned
- Provide direct oversight of pharmacy personnel and ensure that they work only within the scope of practice and duties of their licensure
- Secure pharmacy area against theft/diversion and maintain legal records
- Dispense prescriptions accurately and maintain active licensure and pharmacological knowledge through education and professional development
Qualifications:
Education: A Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy is required; a Pharm D Degree is preferred
Experience
- Experience in community or ambulatory pharmacy practice
- One year's experience working as a licensed Pharmacist for Pharmacist Float positions
- The following residencies are the equivalent of work as a licensed Pharmacist: Post Graduate Year-1 (PGY-1) is the equivalent of 2 years, Post Graduate Year 2 (PGY-2) is the equivalent of 3 years
Licenses: WA State Pharmacist's license
Skills
- Understands the professional expectations associated with the pharmacist's role
- knowledgeable in community pharmacy practice and drug therapy expert
- detail-oriented team player in fast-paced settings
- Working knowledge of inventory management is preferred
- Current understanding of State and Federal Pharmacy Laws
- Customer-oriented communication skills
- Ability to prioritize work while performing multiple tasks requiring attention to detail, with frequent interruptions.
- Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Office is preferred
- Basic knowledge of at least one pharmacy software system with the ability to learn new ones
Drug testing: This position requires testing for controlled substances before employment and will be subject to further testing throughout employment.
