- Position: Pharmacist Retail, per diem, Tier 3
- Location: Skokie Hospital
- Full Time/Part Time: Resource-per diem
- Hours: Monday-Friday, rotating shifts; e/o week-end & rotating holidays
What you will need:
- License: Current Illinois Registered Pharmacist
- Education: BS or PharmD (preferred) degree from an accredited school of pharmacy. Completion of an accredited Immunization training program within 6 months of employment
- Certification: CPR certification within 6 months of employment
- Experience: N/A
- Skills: N/A
What you will do:
- Dispensing medication in response to a physician's order
- Assure that drug therapy (dosing, indication for use, interactions, etc.) are appropriate for patient's condition, weight and age.
- Consult patients and/or physicians regarding problems with medications
- Coordinate store operations
- Reviews all work done by technicians prior to dispensing
