Job Summary: Will be completing data entry and data validation, will not be speaking with patients directly, no calls will be made.
If Contract, Length of Assignment: 90 days, then potentially go perm!
- Salary for perm is around $118,500 +/- (Approximately $57/hr)
Work Setting/Atmosphere: Position will be onsite (NOT remote): Call Center setting
Shift: 8am to 10pm Est. open 7 Days per week. The schedules are 40 hours per week. They will have to choose their schedule before starting
First week training schedule - 10:00am – 6:30pm
- Training is 13 days – first 5 are actually learning systems, traditional training, etc., next 8 days are the “nesting” period – will be working on their own but will still have a trainer available to assist, ask questions, etc
Start Date: Classes starting every Monday in January!
Job Description
- Conducts data and clinical reviews and taking necessary actions to ensure accuracy and appropriateness of medications.
- Reviews drug histories and patient profiles to ensure proper and safe drug therapy.
- Provides individualized patient/provider consultation.
- Follows guidelines and procedures for all job responsibilities in order to meet goals.
- Adheres to company policies and procedures including all HIPAA guidelines/regulations.
Minimum Education/Licensures/Qualifications:
- BS in Pharmacy or PharmD
- Clear and Active Pharmacist license in Arizona (the state they are working in)
- At least 1 years of pharmacy experience coming from one of these settings: Retail Pharmacy, Mail Order Pharmacy, or another Specialty Pharmacy - will now accept new grads
- Computer proficient (needs to be able to use Microsoft Excel, & Word)
- Willing to work shift (they will not get to select their shift)
Types of Candidates to Submit to Sales Rep:
1st Best Candidate: Pharmacist coming a retail pharmacy with experience with providing clinical services or MTM interventions.
2nd Best Candidate: pharmacist coming from a large retail pharmacy and patient consultation experience
3rd Best Candidate: pharmacist who previously worked in a retail setting for at least 2 years with patient consultation experience
Disqualifier:
- Not looking for a Prior Auth Pharmacist (prior auths are quick 2 minute phone calls, not looking for that)
- Not looking for someone coming from a small standalone pharmacy. If they have previous experience from big pharmacy, retail, mail order or specialty in the past then we may be able to consider
- Not looking for someone working PRN, Per Diem, Part Time, Float Pharmacist (they are not that busy)
- Currently can't be employed at a Walgreens facility.
