Description:
Partner with laboratory personnel to help bring in testing methods for a growing portfolio of products. Will conduct chemical & physical analysis on raw materials to finished product samples determining identity, assay testing, stability testing, and other characteristics. This role is Entry Level and recent chemistry graduates are encouraged to apply. You will be trained on nuances specific to our pharmaceutical industry sector but previous experience in pharma, chemical manufacturing, or food & beverage industries is a plus.
Analytical Methods primarily used:
HPLC (85%)
Direct Injection GC (10%)
FTIR
Photostability Chamber
Karl Fischer Titrations
UV-vis spectrometry
Loss on Drying
Other Responsibilities:
Good Documentation Practices following cGMP regulation
Attention to detail regarding instructions provided via protocols, methods, SOPs, or other tech docs
Investigation of Out of Spec (OOS) results
Maintenance and minor troubleshooting of of instrumentation/equipment
Verification of results by calculations in notebooks, logbooks, and reports while maintaining data integrity
Strictly follow regulations and procedures pertaining to OSHA & Safety

Requirements:
BS in Chemistry, Biology, Pharmaceutical or related sciences
Zero to three years of laboratory experience preferable in pharmaceutical, chemical or food laboratory
