Miami Pet Concierge has been around for over 15 years providing in-home care for our client's pets, and we are expanding our team. We know what the business of pet care takes, and we are looking to build our team because our company is growing.

Here is the nitty-gritty:

• Are you available mornings between 7-10 am and evenings between 5-8 pm? You will have opportunities to earn more money if you're available in the afternoons too!
• Do you live in or can you work in one of the territories listed above?
• Do you enjoy caring for all domesticated animals such as dogs, cats, small caged pets, birds, rabbits, ferrets, reptiles, and fish?
• Are you brave enough to face Miami's many weather changes (heat, cold, and rain) to walk dogs and brighten their day?
• You don't mind driving throughout the territory you apply to work?
• Are you okay picking up dog poops and scooping cat litter?
• Get some exercise and be paid for it.
• If you're sick of the "typical job" and want to work in the beautiful outdoors.
• Are you okay with filling up your phone with selfies of cute pets?
• Pet Sitting includes playtime, meals, walks, medication administration, mail, watering plants, and other minor housekeeping duties.
• Provide visit updates to the pet parents, take pictures and videos of the pets during pet visits, and communicate visit updates and any emergency scenario to management.

Did we mention this job requires you to play with puppies and kittens too? For many of our staff, they say it is the best job ever!
We are looking for the following:

• Over 21+ years of age
• US citizens or legally authorized to work in the US for at least the next 12 months
• Able to pass a background check
• A local full-time resident of Miami Dade
• Able to commit to this position for 12 months from the date of hire
• Ability to work a flexible work schedule, including holidays and weekends as needed
• Have a smartphone with enough data to handle a large number of pictures
• Be able to communicate in English, orally, and in writing
• Understand you will place mileage on your car
• Physical ability to walk dogs for 30-40 minutes at a time, climb stairs, use elevators, kneel, and lift to 50 pounds.
• Ability to work outside in both high and low temperatures (summer, heat, and rain)
• Consider yourself detail-oriented (for pets that require medication, customized feeding & special needs)
• Be able to adhere to our smoke and drug-free work environment commitment
• Be available for our morning and evening time blocks
• Able to pass out marketing material such as flyers to attract new clients
• Be willing to start up conversations with residents in the territory you work in to help the company grow its clientele
• Take over Instagram stories from time to time to share about your day as a Pet Sitter
• Licenses or previous pet sitting experience is a plus
• Sales abilities are a PLUS!
