SalaryTLC House & Pet Sitting Service, serving the East Valley community for over two decades, is in need of dedicated pet sitters to join our team. If you're passionate about animals and have the right qualifications, we'd love to hear from you.
QUALIFIED CANDIDATES:
We're looking for customer-focused pet sitters who can create lasting bonds with pet owners. Ideal candidates:
- Love animals
- Are responsible and detail-oriented
- Possess relevant pet-sitting experience
- Reside within our service areas (see below)
SERVICE AREAS ( MUST LIVE IN THESE ZIP CODES):
- Ahwatukee: 85044, 85048
- Tempe: 85284, 85283
TYPE OF SERVICES:
Our pet sitters should be available for various time slots, including holidays, and make multiple daily visits to clients' homes. Please indicate your preferred service:
- Mid-Day/ Dog walking visits: 11 AM - 2 PM
- Daily vacation sitters: 1-4 visits per day between 6:00 AM – 8:00 PM
- Overnight sitters: Sleep at the client’s home from 7 PM – 7 AM
- Cat Sitters: Visits per day between 6:00 AM – 8:00 PM
INDEPENDENT CONTRACTOR REQUIREMENTS:
- Have experience handling pets
- Be physically capable of interacting with animals
- Meet bonding and insurance requirements
- Pass background checks and provide references
- Demonstrate professionalism and strong ethics
- Possess organizational and communication skills
- Have insurance and access to a reliable vehicle
- Maintain an accessible email account
- Be available for major holidays
COMMISSION:
- Daily/Vacation: Starting at $15.00+ per 30-minute visit/assignment
- Overnight sitter: Starting at $60+ per night (12 hours)
Sitters can grow their client base, with earnings ranging from approximately $200+ per month (based on availability) to as much as $1500+ per month, especially during major holidays and summer. Plus, you have tax write-offs as an independent contractor.
