Pet Cremation Operator

```Overview```
We are currently seeking a reliable and dedicated Operator to join our team. As an Operator, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining various types of industrial equipment. This is a physically demanding role that requires heavy lifting and mechanical knowledge. You will be working with deceased pets. These pets are family members, strong attention to detail is demanded.

```Responsibilities```

- Handling of deceased pet with the utmost respect, dignity and accuracy

- Operators will be responsible to load animals into the cremator with attention to safety working around extremely high temperatures

- Handling of the animals prior to and after cremation must be performed in a precise order

- Operators will be responsible for processing of pet's remains

- Operate and monitor industrial equipment to ensure proper functioning

- Perform routine maintenance and inspections on equipment

- Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that may arise during operation

- Follow safety protocols and guidelines at all times

- Maintain a clean and organized work area

```Qualifications```
- Previous experience using computer operated equipment is preferred
- Strong mechanical knowledge and troubleshooting skills
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and physical tasks as required
- Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
- Self motivated and strong work ethic
- Crematory experience is a plus, but not required

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $17.50 - $19.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week
