Position: Pest Management Specialist, Commercial

Location: Providing pest management services to healthcare accounts in a professional atmosphere

Schedule: Monday - Friday 3rd shift, 9pm - 6am with an hour break

Earnings: $45,000 - $55,000

Vehicle: Company vehicle you drive home each night with gas & maintenance included

Due to strong growth in Ohio, we are seeking looking to add Pest Management Specialists to our team.

POSITION OVERVIEW:

The Pest Management Specialist will be providing pest management services to accounts in the healthcare industry in a professional environment. We are seeking a communicative, hard-working and ethical person who enjoys the freedom of working on their own, building strong customer relationships, solving pest management issues and facing new challenges, while sustaining the highest standards of quality, safety, and integrity throughout all aspects of the job requirements. We need Team Players who can interact with others to solve issues to protect businesses, homes, and the environment from unwanted pests.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Efficiently handle commercial accounts in the healthcare industry
• Evaluate Pest Control situation by inspecting conditions; identifying new infestations and determining causes; analyzing treatment, prevention, and exclusion options
• Apply products to commercial structures according to schedule and in compliance with SDS and label instructions
• Exceed customer expectations through consistent, punctual & reliable service
• Work independently and to maintain a personable attitude at all times
• Correspond with office through work tablet (provided by Apex)
• Complete appropriate paperwork accurately and in a timely manner
• Wear company issued uniform and maintain a neat, clean appearance
• Drive company-marked vehicles and ensure that the vehicle and equipment remain clean and in good working order
• Update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading technical publications

JOB ESSENTIALS /ATTRIBUTES:

• Basic command of the English language (reading, writing, and speaking) in order to perform written and verbal communications required by the job
• Basic computer knowledge in order to utilize company provided Work Tablet
• Ability to communicate and function with remote stakeholders via phone/email/Tablet
• Ability to work alone under minimal supervision for extended periods of time
• Availability to work: Monday – Friday 3rd shift, 9pm - 6am with an hour break
• Operate a motor vehicle with active Ohio Driver’s License

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS & EXPERIENCE:

• Possess a strong work ethic
• High School Diploma/GED equivalent
• Satisfactory driving record
• Apex Pest Control will train a candidate with transferable skills.
• A Commercial applicator license with the Ohio Department of Agriculture preferred, otherwise some route sales type of experience or transferable skills.
