Job Title - Pest Control Technician
Location: Anchorage and the Mat/Su areas.
Job Type: Full-time
Job Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough inspections of residential and commercial properties to identify pest infestations.
- Determine appropriate treatment plans and develop strategies for effective Pest Control.
- Safely and accurately apply pesticides and other approved control methods to eliminate pests and prevent future infestations.
- Educate customers on pest prevention strategies and provide recommendations for maintaining a pest-free environment.
- Document all services provided and maintain accurate records of Pest Control activities.
- Communicate effectively with customers, explaining treatment plans, answering questions, and addressing concerns.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations when handling pesticides and other equipment.
- Maintain and clean equipment, ensuring it is in good working condition.
- Follow company policies and procedures, as well as state and federal regulations related to Pest Control.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends, techniques, and Pest Control products.
Minimum Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid driver's license.
- Clean driving record.
- Basic computer skills.
- Strong communication skills.
- Physical ability to lift and carry heavy equipment.
- Comfortable working in various environments, both indoor and outdoor.
- Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
- Ability to use and handle pesticides safely.
- Ability to successfully complete the Alaska Pest Control Core Certification
- Able to Pass mandatory background check.
