Pest Control Route/Sales Manager [Partner Option]
Position: Pest Control Route/Sales Manager.

The Role:
  • ValuePest of Wake County is seeking a Termite & Pest Control Service Technician in Wake County, NC.
  • ValuePest of Wake County is seeking a dedicated team member within the local area for a long-term career.
  • Learn an in-demand skill & trade-become a licensed technician and operate a daily service route.
  • Licensed tech is preferred, experience is a plus.

Benefits:
  • Average $31,200 a year to start & up to $75,000 (with commission).
  • Work Day Shift, Monday thru Friday. Weekends and Holidays off! Average 8 stops per day; you get 1 hour per stop if needed.

Requirements:
  • Operate daily residential service route (indoor/outdoor).
  • Marketing & selling service plans (commissions paid on top of salary).
  • Clean driving record. (A must - This is a deal-breaker)
  • Pass criminal background check and drug test.
  • Pass 30 days of training and licensing test (one-day exam in Charlotte).
  • Excellent customer service.
  • Good communication/listening skills.
  • Need to be physically able to walk, reach, climb up and down stairs, and able to lift over 50 lbs.
  • Reliable and trustworthy.
  • Sales experience is helpful. Will be selling new accounts.

Responsibilities:
  • Inspect buildings and premises for signs of pest infestation.
  • Design and carry out pest management plans.
  • Determine the type of treatment needed to eliminate pests.
  • Measure the dimensions of the area needing treatment.
  • Inspect and treat crawlspace areas. Drilling and trenching are necessary.
  • Apply pesticides, and bait, and set traps in and around buildings and other structures.
  • Drive trucks are equipped with power spraying equipment.
  • Complete all required service-related documentation.
  • Be knowledgeable, responsible, and comply with federal, state, & local industry regulations.
  • Generating sales in the form of new clients.
  • Door to door sales. (See below)

Pest Control Sales Representative (con't.):
We are a fast-growing Pest Control company seeking a passionate and dedicated sales representative to take part in our success. We provide our customers with excellent, reliable, and effective Pest Control solutions, and we need a sales representative who is confident, and sales are driven. Our Pest Control Sales Representatives’ primary duties are working out with potential and existing customers in the community. You will be meeting with customers to assess their needs to protect their property from pests.
Are you a born salesperson? If you enjoy traveling and have excellent communication and follow-up skills, a position as an outside sales associate might be the one for you.
To be successful in this role, you will need to be organized, efficient, and have practical problem-solving skills. You will interact with our customers daily and having patient and respectful behavior is a must as you represent our Pest Control company.
Pest Control Sales Representative's Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Contact homeowners in your assigned area to generate sales
  • Reach out to potential clients by knocking on doors, and making calls
  • Adequately explain and demonstrate the benefits and prices of our products and services.
  • Upsell on other services
  • Estimate Pest Control costs and prepare plan recommendations
  • Complete sales form accurately for our technicians to complete service correctly.
  • Contact customers after services are performed to ensure satisfaction.

Pest Control Sales Representatives Requirements:
  • High school diploma, GED, or suitable equivalently.
  • At least one year of sales.
  • Ability to pass a background check and drug test.
  • Reliable and self-motivated
  • Excellent time management skills.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal skills
  • Valid driver’s license and insurance.
  • Have your own transportation.

Job Type: Contract.
Pay: $31,200.00 - $75,000.00 per year.
