Pest ControlTraining Instructor Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Lead the teaching of the on-site corporate training program of the Fox Institute of Training. Assist in identifying the learning objectives of the company's program and assist in the development of a curriculum for the overall training program of the company. All duties should be in compliance with applicable state and local regulations.

A Day in the Life of a Field Training Instructor

• Follow the guidelines and schedule for the training of all employees regardless of role and position (service, sales, and customer service), including the new hire classroom training for all learning tracks and any immediate training needs.
• Work in the field with technicians, salespeople and CSRs during non-scheduled classroom time
• Reinforce learning for all employees by selecting and utilizing applicable training material
• Provide feedback to management concerning comprehension of employees and effectiveness of training
• Prepare training and resource materials by identifying purpose and assembling and composing information.

• Provide technical support for pest and termite technicians
• Contribute to team effort by performing any other duties deemed necessary by the Senior Manager of Training and Development

What You Need to be a Successful Field Trainer

• Must have at least 5+ years of experience in the Pest Control industry (Field and sales experience a plus)
• ACE certified or willing to pursue that certification
• Outstanding people and relationship skills
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Project Management skills
• Forward and conceptual planning skills
• Teachable, adaptable, and growth mindset
• Detail-oriented, highly conscientious, and well organized
• Reliable attendance
• 25% Travel
