Job description

This position's primary responsibility is to assist the football recruiting and scouting department by analyzing and producing reports on prospective student-athletes.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Analyze high school prospective student athletes and produce write-ups and evaluations
  • Analyze transfer portal prospective student athletes and produce write-ups and evaluations
  • Assist with transfer portal recruiting board, keeping all information up-to-date for use by Vanderbilt Football recruiting/scouting staff as well as coaches
  • Assist with high school recruiting board, keeping all information up-to-date for use by Vanderbilt Football recruiting/scouting staff as well as coaches
  • Assist with planning, organizing, and executing all prospect camps
  • Fully comply with NCAA, AFCA, and SEC ethics and procedures
  • Additional duties as assigned by the General Manager, Chief of Staff, or the Head Football Coach

Qualifications

  • A Bachelor’s degree is necessary .
  • Prior experience with a Division I football program is necessary .
  • Prior experience with recruiting/scouting analysis is necessary .
  • Knowledge and understanding of NCAA and SEC compliance rules and regulations is preferred .
