Personal Trainer/Group Fitness Instructors
CustomFit360 is currently seeking qualified trainers and coaches who can deliver a fantastic workout experience to our clients! Trainers are responsible for coaching Personal and group training programs.
-Perform traditional Fitness Coach duties including, but not limited to conducting assessments, attending monthly meetings, and designing class workouts for one-on-one and group trainings.
-Consult with new members regarding fitness goals and aspirations.
-Meet sales and service initiatives by creating consumer demand for fitness services.
-Establish clientele through developing meaningful relationships with members and providing outstanding service.
Group Fitness Instructor Classes: TRX, Bootcamp, Senior Fitness, Circuit Training, yoga, pilates, etc.
Job Duties/Expectations

• Teaches scheduled classes, beginning and ending on time; provides adequate warm-up, exercises, stretching, and cool down.

• Instructs patrons on effective workout methods; explains proper techniques, demonstrates exercises; identifies different muscle groups, and teaches appropriate methods to strengthen specific muscles.

• Prepares appropriate equipment, music, and handouts for each class.

• Demonstrate competency of training techniques, including strength and conditioning formats.

• Be eager to learn and accepting of constructive feedback

• Must be comfortable interacting with clients, children, parents, etc.

• Display positive demeanor towards members, guests and staff.

• Present yourself in a manner that will reinforce your status as a role model for our members.

• Assists patrons, answers questions, and maintains a positive exercise experience for members and class participants.

• Keeps management informed of customer and facility needs.

• Ensures that safety standards are met, and that department and facility policies are adhered to.

• Performs related duties as required. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS Education and Experience

• Must be at least 18 years of age.

• Must have a current nationally recognized fitness certification in Group Fitness, Personal Training, or health related field.

• Current CPR/AED and First Aid Certifications Required

• Working knowledge of human anatomy, kinesiology and training principles.

This position has the opportunity to grow into a full-time position based on demand and productivity
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour

• High school or equivalent (Preferred)

Experience:

• Personal Training: 1 year (Preferred)
• Customer Service: 1 year (Preferred)

License/Certification:

• Personal Trainer Certification (Required)
• AED Certification (Preferred)

Requirements

• Previous experience as a Personal Trainer or relevant role
• Knowledge of various fitness programs, from basic exercises to more challenging training sessions
• Ability to guide and motivate clients
• Available to work flexible hours
• Excellent communication skills
• Certificates in CPR and first aid
• High School Diploma; a degree in Kinesiology or Sports Science is a plus
