Form of work As a Custom Solutions Associate Underwriter, you are accountable for working with Underwriters to assist in prepping, crafting, documenting, and reviewing (admitted or non-admitted) exposures that do not fit into a standard Personal Lines program. This includes evaluating requests for bespoke solutions with customized language and incidental commercial policies for Premier accounts and routing to the appropriate Custom Solutions resource. The successful candidate will also provide solutions for certain international policies along with acting as a resource and contact for commercial exposures as a part of an expanded capabilities approach.
Key Responsibilities
- Review submission information with the underwriter, research and provide analysis of account information, and ensure overall compliance
- Assist with prepping inspections to be processed
- Compile and document risk reports
- Coordinate reports such as registry, excess tracking, and other servicing reports
- Coordinate renewal quoting in SharePoint as well as local drives and assist Underwriters in gathering information using the Personal Lines Underwriting Workstation, PLUW, & Risk ID for appraisal details, iClaims, location checks, and other report features. Complete risk reports for referral to the Underwriter.
- Review, verify and publish all documents and track tools and templates
- Research and respond to producer inquiries
- Serve as the first point of contact for internal and external contacts on account related matters
