Harrison Gray Searchhas partnered with a stable insurance brokerage that is looking for a Personal Lines Assistant Account Manager in East Providence, RI. Position Summary:
This role serves as administrative and technical support in their Personal Lines Department. This individual handles client service and transactions relating to Personal Lines insurance accounts.
Essential Job Functions:
- Serve as a phone and email backup to Account Executives handling and processing service requests including but not limited to billing and policy information, renewal, cancellation, and endorsement requests.
- Initial Quote/rating for new business at AE direction.
- Identify renewals at 10%+ rate increase and rate coverage options and/or alternate carriers for AE review and delivery.
- Assist AE with client calls, inquiries, and carrier requests as requested by AE.
- Maintain client files and tasks in database, including documenting pertinent written correspondence and/or verbal conversations in ImageRight.
- Utilize online company rating on carrier websites, upload endorsements and policies as needed. Download when required.
- Manage To Do list in ImageRight.
- Prepare proposals.
- Review and process applications, quotations, ID cards, binders, invoicing, and correspondence requests.
- Keep current with carrier guidelines, processes and procedures.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Skills and Abilities:
- Fluency in MS Office products.
- Superior verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to multitask and operate in an ever-changing environment is critical.
- Ability to work well in a team environment.
- Ability to learn Personal Lines insurance coverage, underwriting and processing.
- Ability to communicate clearly, to work well with others, and to manage time effectively.
Education and Experience Requirements:
- College Degree preferred.
- Insurance or office experience preferred.
- Producer License is Mandatory.
