Summary: Seeking a Computer Support Tech for PC/network support including installation, testing, repair, and troubleshooting with heavy customer support duties.
Job Requirements:
4+ years of experience in a similar role.
High-level proficiency with Microsoft Suite.
Advanced knowledge of Windows operating systems and Microsoft software.
Experience with hardware and software issues.
Database experience, particularly with MS Access.
Ability to manipulate large data sets quickly and flexibly.
Preferred Skills:
- AWRDS experience considered a plus.
Job Responsibilities:
Provide support to distributed PC/networking environment including stand-alone PCs, network-linked PCs, printers, and peripherals.
Perform software installations and configurations.
Offer heavy customer support on various tasks.
Guide and train lower level operators.
Test new programs, applications, and procedures; deviate from standard procedures as needed to prevent data loss or minimize downtime.
Operate, maintain, and modify systems or programs; develop operational instructions and procedures.
Diagnose CPU error conditions beyond existing guidelines; perform monthly FEDLOG/IETMS updates.
Required Education/Certifications:
Security+ CE, A+ CE Certification required; willingness to obtain current OS certification preferred (certifications must be included upon application submission).
Associates Degree or equivalent four years of directly related experience.
Additional Requirements:
- Candidates must be eligible for Common Access Card (CAC) and NACI Clearance. Clean background is essential for passing the CAC/NACI process.
Pay Details: $25.00 to $27.00 per hour
