Salted Chef is a mission-focused company. We want to provide a service that improves the quality of life for our clients and chefs. As a family ran company we do not believe in late hours or a high stress environment. We strive to be finished by no later than 5 pm each day. We believe as a great chef you should not be forced to make a handful of meals over and over again but instead take pride in the creation process.
Do you Qualify?
We know passion is the driving factor in success. So having passion for making healthy customized meals is a must. We also strongly encourage that you have a culinary degree (or can demonstrate equivalent knowledge), own a reliable vehicle, are great with people, and have experience in different cooking styles.
As a personals chefs we mainly work from 9-5 and then if you want (you do not have to) pick up a dinner party on the weekends.
Pay for our chefs varies based on experience and usually we pay around $25/hour to start out and target around $30/hour at the 6 month mark.
The primary job of a Personal Chef is to provide in-home weekly meal prep to our clients. Our client's homes are our job site. We plan their menus, shop, cook on-site, clean up and stock their refrigerators with a week's worth of creative, delicious, prepared meals to reheat.
