Individual Job Coach/ Home-based Service Provider/ Family’s Personal Assistant (30-40 hr/ week job)
Unique and exciting opportunity for someone with a background in special education, behavior, psychology, or related fields to participate in a developmental driven program for a teen with developmental delays who has vocational aspirations. You will be providing social, educational, employment support to a happy, friendly, and hardworking teen.

- Training, support, and mentorship from a Behavioral Specialist/MD will be provided.
- Learn from and interact with a variety of therapy, business, and education professionals.
- Balance many responsibilities including direct teaching as well as recognizing and creating opportunities for social engagement, incorporating interventions into daily life, and volunteer and vocational opportunities will be key to success.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Self-directed in planning, teaching, and implementing activities.
- Promote child development and employment skills with core values of inclusion, initiative, independence
- Develop goals, monitor progress, and data collection
- Managing calendar, emails, computer files
- Supporting the family for IEP meetings and other settings
- Support family in expanding baking and non for profit business that employs people with diverse abilities, etc.
HOURS:
M-W-F and Sat or Sun (~12-6 pm with room for flexibility) all year round
REQUISITES:
- Tech savvy
- Excellent communicator
- Great organizational skills
- Driving initiative
- Non-smoker
- Physically active in order to support sports, such as: tennis, running
- Own transportation with good driving record
- Minimum two year commitment
- Submit to background check
- College graduate or college bound
LOCATION: 1 mile from downtown Naperville. Commute under 10 miles
COMPENSATION: commensurate with experience
