We are currently seeking a dedicated and compassionate Personal Care Assistants to join our team and provide exceptional care to our clients. This positions are for part-time, 2nd and 3rd shifts. Must be willing to enroll in our on-site LNA training program. Upon successful completion of training and licensure, will be considered for promoted to LNA position.

PCA/LNA shift differentials:
2nd shift = $2.00 per hour
3rd shift = $2.50 per hour
Weekends = $1.50 per hour (Friday 5PM-Sunday midnight)
Responsibilities include:
- Performs group and individual activities (structured and impromptu) in activity spaces, common areas and in resident's room to support resident needs and desires.
- Responsible for a range of personal assistance duties which may include bathing and dressing residents, assisting with household chores and other personal needs as defined by the resident's care plan.
- Responsible for assisting with meal services to the resident, which may include escorting resident to/from dining room and/or delivering trays directly to resident.
- Responsible for washing/drying personal laundry of resident and assisting with other daily living household tasks.
- Provides companionship to resident through social visits, daily conversation, encouragement to participate in activities, escorting as necessary and helping to create a warm and supportive community atmosphere for the resident.
- Has complete understanding of emergency procedures/protocol. Recognizes emergency situations and implements appropriate emergency procedures as needed.
- Responds immediately to any witnessed or potential medical emergencies by taking appropriate action, calling for assistance and notifying supervisor.
- Performs other duties that may, from time to time, be assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
- Successful completion of State required training and/or training conducted by RiverMead.
- CPR certification required. On-site training is available!
- Three months minimum experience in long-term care preferred.
- Must be self-directed and dependable.
- Must be a team player with a can do attitude!
- Must possess strong communication skills.
