Audubon Healthcare Services is seeking compassionate and dedicated Personal Care Assistants to provide essential support to individuals in need. As a Personal Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in assisting clients with their daily activities and ensuring their well-being. Responsibilities:
- Assist clients with activities of daily living, including bathing, grooming, and dressing
- Assist with mobility and transfers, using proper lifting techniques
-- Support individuals with dementia or developmental disabilities
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients
- Prepare nutritious meals and assist with feeding if necessary
Requirements:
- Clean background check/no criminal record
- Positive attitude
-Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
-Must be reliable and have reliable transportation, punctual, the ability to follow instructions and stay
on task, have a well-groomed/neat appearance and great work ethic
-Experience working with the elderly a plus, but not required
- Knowledge of proper lifting techniques and ability to lift and move clients as required
- Compassionate, patient, and empathetic nature
