We are seeking a compassionate and responsible Personal Care Assistant on behalf of a gentleman who requires assitance with daily tasks. The ideal candidate will provide general care support, particulary focusing on driving the gentleman to various locations, helping him order meals at drive-thrus, and assisting with shopping and reading labesl due to his vision impairment. Additional, this role may include organizing and finding misplaced items in his home. Among this you would be helping to cook meals, and clean up after the meals are finished.
Requirements
- Valid driver's license and a reliable vehicle.
- Availability between approximately 12 PM and 5 PM on weekdays, with flexibility for extended hours if needed.
- Compassionate and patient demeanor.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to read aloud effectively.
- Prior experience in Personal Care or a related field is preferred but not required.
- Understanding of basic nutrition and food labels is a plus.
- Ability to lift and carry moderate loads if necessary.
