Personal Assistant

Seeking Personal Assistant to work with an outgoing young lady with intellectual disabilities in Atchison, KS for community socialization. Requires a patient and kind individual that enjoys being in the community for activities such as but not limited to going to the park, shopping, library, and participating in light physical exercise. Must have reliable transportation and provide proof of current car insurance. This position is Part-time, consisting of 21 hours per month. Pay range is up to $16.50 per hour.

Responsibilities:

- Provide personal assistance to client with Severe Learning Disability including community socialization, going to the park, shopping, library, and participating in light physical exercise.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to client.
- Ensure the safety and well-being of clients at all times.
- Respect and uphold the rights of residents in accordance with applicable regulations.

Skills:
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with client, family members, and Case Managers / Service Providers.
