Open Until FilledThe Mt. Lebanon School District is seeking applicants for a Permanent Substitute Mathematics Teacher position for a Geometry assignment at Mt. Lebanon High School.
This is a full-time, on-site, temporary vacancy for the second semester of the 2023-2024 school year, from January 22, 2024, through June 10, 2024, for a 95 day assignment.
Permanent Substitute assignments are a full semester in length, and are eligible for a prorated salary based on the degree level daily rate at Step 1 of the teacher salary schedule, with rates starting at $269 per day. These assignments are also eligible for paid time off in the form of sick and personal days, and individual coverage for health insurance benefits, with a monthly employee contribution, during the term of the assignment, or a stipend in lieu of benefits.
In order to be eligible to apply, the candidate must hold an active Instructional Certificate from the Pennsylvania Department of Education in Mathematics 7-12, or equivalent authorization in the form of a college/university placeholder letter stating completion of a PDE approved teacher preparation program and evidence of passing scores on the appropriate certification examinations, while certification is pending through PDE.

Sexual Misconduct/Abuse Disclosure Information (Act 168)
