Periodontist - 1 Day Every 2 Weeks

```Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Periodontist to join our dental practice. As a Periodontist, you will specialize in the prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of gum diseases and other conditions that affect the supporting structures of the teeth. You will work closely with our team of dental professionals to provide comprehensive periodontal care to our patients.

Duties:
- Perform thorough examinations and assessments of patients' oral health
- Diagnose and treat various periodontal conditions, including gum disease, gingivitis, and periodontitis
- Develop personalized treatment plans based on patients' needs and goals
- Perform surgical procedures such as scaling and root planing, gum grafting, and dental implant placement
- Administer local anesthesia and sedation as necessary for patient comfort
- Monitor patients' progress during and after treatment, making any necessary adjustments to ensure optimal outcomes
- Collaborate with general dentists and other specialists to coordinate comprehensive dental care for patients
- Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in periodontal treatments and techniques

Qualifications:
- Doctorate degree in Dentistry from an accredited dental school
- Completion of an accredited periodontal residency program
- Valid state dental license to practice as a Periodontist
- Board certification or eligibility for board certification in Periodontology
- Strong knowledge of dental anatomy, medical imaging, medical coding, HIPAA regulations, and medical terminology
- Proficiency in dental software systems such as Eaglesoft, Epic, and Dentrix
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to educate patients about their oral health and treatment options
- Compassionate and patient-centered approach to care
- Ability to work effectively within a team environment
