Description

The Performance Tester will:

• Participate in performance test planning, execution, and validation, capacity planning, and application performance management. 
• Review the performance testing strategy, audit the existing NFR’s, and identify gaps in performance testing execution approach.

Requirements

Location Expectation: 

This is a Remote position, however, we will be prioritizing candidates located in the following areas:

• Virginia
• DC
• San Antonio, Texas

Required Experience:

• Understanding of performance best practices (e.g., JVM settings, Network Variability impact on Performance of distributed systems).
• Proficiency in JMeter, Neoload, Loadrunner, API’s performance tuning, AWS / cloud ecosystem, microservices platform performance analysis.
• Leveraging profiling tools (i.e. Dynatrace, OpenSearch, Splunk) to analyze and define performance characteristics of an application, recommend enhancements, and trouble shoot bottlenecks.
• Performance troubleshooting (heap dump & thread dump analysis).
• Application and infrastructure scaling analysis and recommendations.
