Position Overview:

NavitasBusiness Consulting is seeking aPerformance Engineer and Tester tojoin our dynamic team. The successful candidate will play a critical role inensuring the optimal performance of a federal client’s systems, with aparticular focus on testing data at rest encryption. This individual will beresponsible for developing and validating existing enterprise performancetesting practices, executing performance testing using tools such as LoadRunnerand various IBM tools, developing comprehensive reports, creating testingplans, contributing to the Performance Engineering model, and providingauxiliary support to the broader testing and development teams.

PositionDescription:

PerformanceTesting:

· Conduct performance testing of systems, with a specificemphasis on data at rest encryption.

· Utilize tools such as LoadRunner and IBM toolsto simulate real-world scenarios and identify potential performancebottlenecks.

· Testing Plans and Reports:

· Develop detailed testing plans to ensure comprehensivecoverage of performance testing scenarios.

· Generate comprehensive reports summarizing testresults, identifying issues, and providing recommendations for performanceimprovements.

PerformanceEngineering:

· Contribute to the development and maintenance ofa Performance Engineering model to enhance overall system efficiency.

· Collaborate with cross-functional teams tointegrate performance considerations and best practices into existingdevelopment life cycle.

AuxiliarySupport:

· Provide support to the broader testing anddevelopment teams in identifying and resolving performance-related issues.

· Collaborate with other stakeholders tounderstand system requirements and performance expectations.

Qualifications:

· Bachelor’s degree in computer science,Information Technology, or a related field.

· Proven experience in performance testing, with afocus on data at rest encryption.

· Proficiency in using performance testing toolssuch as LoadRunner and IBM tools.

· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

· Excellent communication and collaborationabilities.

· Experience in developing testing plans andcomprehensive reports.

PreferredSkills:

· Familiarity with encryption technologies andbest practices.

· Knowledge of Performance Engineering principles.

· Certifications in performance testing or relatedfields.

· Previous experience in a similar role within theindustry.

· Ability to effectively brief leadership andexecutives on performance test results and best practices.
