Job Description:
The Senior Developer designs, develops, configures, tests, troubleshoots, and assists in system rollouts. The successful candidate will have the ability to lead design sessions, create functional and technical specifications, configure system settings, lead various phases of testing, and lead projects. The Senior Developer will work directly with different functional owners (Procurement, Accounting, Finance) to troubleshoot production issues or collaborate on new initiatives. It's a fast pace environment that requires outstanding coordination and communication with internal and external stakeholders.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Demonstrated PeopleSoft experience especially with PeopleSoft 9.2 FSCM modules such as Inventory, eProcurement, Purchasing, Account Payable & General Ledger.
Anticipates, plans, creates and executes test scenarios and troubleshoots issues resulting from enhancements, configuration changes or system fixes.
Hands-on experience with Application Designer, PeopleCode, Application Engine, Component Interface, Application Package, Integration Broker, and Rest API.
Collaborates with business users to gather and understand requirements and explores delivered functionality, designs, and solution prototypes.
Ability to plan, organize, schedule, analyze, and coordinate activities for completing assigned tasks/ projects.
Experience with BI Publisher, nVision and Approval Workflow Engine (AWE).
Knowledge of SOX IT general controls and data privacy regulations.
Outstanding written, oral, and presentation skills.
Project Management Professional (PMP) certificate is highly desired.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or related field and/or equivalent relevant experience.
Minimum five years of progressively challenging system configuration or development experience with PeopleSoft.
Three years of working experience as a project lead or manager.
Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office applications.
Valid California Driver's License.
