The People and Culture Coordinator will work onsite at our Waterloo Warehouse to assist and provide direction to day-to-day HR activities and act as a resource to all things involving people, culture, training, and process development. The coordinator will be the onsite point to contact and follow up with necessary employee needs to ensure compliance with health, and safety and HR, as well as improve engagement, recruitment, and retention of employees. In this role, one will be a business partner to warehouse leadership to support operations from a People and process perspective.
This role needs to be present onsite at our warehouse location inShiremanstown, PA warehouse Monday-Friday 7:00am-4:00pm (works 1 Saturday a month)

People and Culture Coordinator Key Responsibilities
- Onsite liaison between Fulfillment and Human Capital
- Facilitate proper employee documentation and records in HR systems, compile reports as needed to ensure employee databases remain accurate and up to date
- Audit documents, inclusive of HR documents, compliance, and safety
- Support the Fulfillment team in implementing efficient and effective talent management programs, performance management and special projects
- Provide support for hiring, onboarding and offboarding, including managing logistics with appropriate teams (e.g., IT, HR shared services).
- Coordinate a detailed training plan for all new hires in their specific department
- Assist in executing surveys to gather new hire, exit and engagement data on employees
- Provide ownership to People and Culture initiatives as assigned by P&C Director or Lead
Training and Development
- Support in all organizational development & behavior initiatives and projects, talent acquisition business needs, succession planning and leadership development programs
- Organize and lead training meetings and initiatives for all Fulfillment locations
- Follow up for accuracy for training requirements for VGM Education courses (VGMU)
Employee Engagement
- Organize, communicate, and coordinate events to improve employee engagement and employee retention
- Assist in completing and gathering items to support internal communication efforts and communicate necessary employee information to staff
- Help with performing administrative services including filing, mailing, running errands, managing office supply inventory, and completing project-based assigned work
- Coordinate employee events (birthdays, anniversaries, etc.)
Key Qualifications
The P&C Coordinator will have high visibility and a need to enforce internal VGMF policies and VGM Group HR policies while maintaining confidentiality.
- High School Diploma or GED, Associates Degree preferred
- 1-2 years of work experience preferably in an HR function, organizational development, or related field
- Demonstrated skills with Microsoft Office preferably 365 Suite (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
- Highly organized and able to handle multiple projects at a time
- Ability to consistently communicate with other VGMF (VGM Fulfillment) and VGM Group personnel in person and via Office 365 Products
- Ability to enforce internal VGM Fulfillment policies and VGM Group Human Capital policies
- Effective communication with key leaders and stakeholders throughout all VGM
- Ability to take focus away from self and focus on building leaders within the workplace
- Flexible with the ability to routinely adapt to change
