People Analytics – Data Engineering & Reporting Associate

You’ll implement and maintain the technical infrastructure that drives HCAP’s reporting capabilities, primarily by developing ETL pipelines and data transformation and analytics scripts in Python. You’ll build dashboards for the firm’s senior leadership using a proprietary Python library and design other reporting products from the ground up.

• A bachelor’s degree or higher and two to five years of relevant experience working in a data science or Data Engineering setting are required.
• Proficiency in using Python for ETL development and data transformation and analytics is required.
• A willingness to dive into details, collaborate effectively with teammates, and drive projects to completion is essential, as is the ability to exercise extreme discretion with confidential information.
• We seek candidates with an affinity for data wrangling and finding the perfect way to display data for a senior audience.
• Individuals who are committed to providing excellent customer service, have impressive interpersonal communication skills, and have an ability to see how small details impact the bigger picture will thrive in this role.
• People analytics experience is preferred but not required.
• The expected annual base salary for this position is $115,000 to $175,000. Our compensation and benefits package includes variable compensation in the form of a year-end bonus, guaranteed in the first year of hire, and benefits including medical and prescription drug coverage, 401k contribution matching, wellness reimbursement, family building benefits, and a charitable gift match program.
