Penetration Tester, Mid
Key Role:
Conduct testing and analysis to identify vulnerabilities and potential threat vectors into systems and networks, develop exploits, and engineer attack methodologies. Apply specific functional, working, and general industry knowledge. Develop or contribute to solutions for a variety of problems of moderate scope and complexity. Work independently with some guidance and review or guide the activities of junior employees.
Basic Qualifications:

• 2+ years of experience with scripting in languages, including Python
• Experience with container vulnerability and library discovery tools
• Experience with Dynamic Application Security Testing (DAST) and Static Application Security Testing (SAST) tools
• Knowledge of bypassing or exploiting restricted Windows or Linux client environments
• Ability to write shellcode on Linux
• Ability to obtain a security clearance
• HS diploma or GED
• Ability to obtain CompTIA Security+ or DoD 8140 Compliant Certification within 30 days of hire

Additional Qualifications:

• Experience with DoD or Navy cybersecurity networks, including RDT&E and operational networks
• Experience with vulnerability consolidation tools, including CodeDx
• Secret clearance
• Bachelor's degree

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $58,300.00 to $133,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
