Pega Developer (Remote)

Position Summary: The Pega Developer is responsible for designing and developing enterprise-level Pega applications for the organization. This role involves deploying large-scale Pega projects, including the development of BPM applications, integration of web services, design of data models and frameworks, and collation of business analysis requirements. The successful candidate will possess advanced knowledge of Pega Class Hierarchy, along with experience in Java-based applications. A top-level Pega Developer understands the Company's needs and designs scalable applications to enhance process management.

Project Information: The purpose of this project is to build the Pega application and workflow for Knowledge templates related to Client contracts in Commercial and Industrial service areas. These applications will be utilized by CRC agents and integrated with Salesforce for OTC (Order to Cash) processes.

Principal Responsibilities:

1. Design and develop Pega BPM reusable, scalable components, and applications in accordance with design standards.
2. Define and implement Pega best practices, integrating with streaming and event-driven architectures.
3. Design class structures, application frameworks, test suites, and data models.
4. Collaborate with the scrum team, Enterprise Architects, and the product owner to ensure the architecture aligns with customer needs.
5. Support the integration of databases, legacy systems, and web services.
6. Troubleshoot application issues, coding bugs, and bottlenecks.
7. Coach team members and facilitate their understanding of the Pega Framework.
8. Perform other job-related duties as assigned or apparent.

Minimum Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field.
2. Pega CSA/CSSA Certification.
3. A minimum of 3 years of experience in leading and supporting the development of highly transactional, mission-critical applications in environments/architectures for multi-user systems.
