Pega Developer (Contract)

Pega Developer is responsible for designing, developing, and implementing Pega-based solutions to address complex business challenges. The ideal candidate should possess strong technical expertise in Pega technology, business process management, and have a proven track record of delivering high-quality solutions.

Primary duties may include, but are not limited to:

• Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to understand and define project requirements.
• Design and implement Pega applications, ensuring adherence to best practices and PegaGuardian principles.
• Develop and configure business rules, user interfaces, case management, and integrations within the Pega platform.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate Pega applications with existing systems and third-party services.
• Participate in system testing, debugging, and resolving defects to ensure the stability and reliability of Pega applications.
• Provide technical expertise and guidance to junior developers and contribute to knowledge sharing within the team.
• Stay current with Pega platform updates, industry trends, and emerging technologies to continually enhance development skills.
• Perform regular code reviews and contribute to the improvement of coding standards and development processes.
• Document technical specifications, solutions, and implementation details.
• Support and maintain existing Pega applications, addressing issues and implementing enhancements as needed

Requirements:

• At least 5 years’ experience Designing, Implementing, Operating, Tuning, and Maintaining SQL and/or NOSQL databases for a variety of sizes and complexities for Business Applications
• At least 3 years’ experience Designing, Implementing, Operating, Tuning, and Maintaining Pega Data Layer Objects and Communications in numerous Pega applications of various sizes and complexities is required
• Pega 8.x experience is required
• Specific DBA Experience with Oracle DB and/or AWS RDS (Oracle) is required
• Pega Certification (What type certification specifically) is highly desired
• DBA Certification is highly desired
• AWS Experience is highly desired
• Healthcare Experience is required with familiarity in claims,claims processing,Eligibility, Denial letters and Misc correspondence
• Experience with MongoDB and/or AWS RDS DocumentDB is highly desired
• Familiarity with EDI X12 HIPAA Forms is highly desired
• Agile Software Delivery Experience is is highly desired
