PEER SUPPORT WORKER

PAMHC is seeking a part-time Peer Support Worker to assist in the operation of the Meeting Place for persons with a serious mental illness. Position is approximately 16 hours per week working Monday and Tuesday from 8am to 3pm.
Pay Range:
$7.62 to $12.61 depending on experience
Position Summary:
The Peer Support Worker will provide Peer Support to consumers and family members, assist with development of and facilitation of support group activities and individual resources and maintain records of contacts and activities of the Meeting Place.
Requirements:
- Lived experience with a mental illness
- Basic computer knowledge
Preferred Qualifications:
- Peer Support Specialist certification or willingness to become certified
- Bilingual a plus, but not required
