Support Children's Well-Being

Peer Review Researcher (Graduate or Doctoral Level)

The Yogi Bears Children's Yoga Program in Columbia, SC.

The yoga study will conduct scientific research on the effects of yoga on children's health and well-being. You would be responsible for designing experiments, collecting data, analyzing results, with the option of publishing finding in reputable scientific journals. Your work contributes to the growing body of evidence supporting the benefits of yoga for children and helps inform future research and practices in this field.

Peer reviewed study:

The peer-reviewed yoga study would focus on the effects, benefits, or outcomes of yoga practice specifically for children. This study would have undergone a thorough evaluation by experts in the field of child development, psychology, or related disciplines. The study could examine various aspects of kids yoga, such as its impact on physical health, mental well-being, emotional regulation, cognitive development, or social skills.

The Peer Review process ensures that the study’s methodology, data analysis, and conclusions are sound and reliable, providing valuable insights into the effects of yoga practice on children.

Details: Hire at the Graduate or Doctoral level to conduct a peer-reviewed study.

Steps:

1. Identify the research question or topic: Clearly define the area of study. Explore the benefits of children's early immersion / engagement in yoga.

2. A researcher or scholar who has expertise in the subject area related to the study.

3. An expert with expressed interest for a Peer Reviewed research project.

4. Discuss project details: Once a researcher has been hired, a detailed discussion about the scope of the study, timeline, budget, and any other specific requirements will be discussed in addition expectations are met to ensure that both parties are on the same page.

5. Ownership of the research findings, and any other legal or contractual aspects of the project will be property of Yogi Bears with a written agreement or contract in place to protect the interests of both parties.

6. Yogi Bears will provide necessary resources: If required, provide the researcher with any relevant data, access to participants, or other resources necessary to conduct the study.

7. Stay in regular communication with the Yogi Bears team lead to track the progress of the study, address any concerns or questions, and provide feedback when needed.

8. Once the study is completed, it can be submitted to relevant academic journals for Peer Review and publication. The researcher will typically handle this process, but you can discuss your preferences and expectations regarding where the study should be submitted.
