Job Description
Minimum Qualifications: Must have an interest in working with students and have a professional and caring attitude. Must be able to maintain confidentiality. Requires good communication, computer, and organizing skills. 2.5 GPA or above
Preferred Qualifications: Completion of ENG 101
Duties and Responsibilities: Advise new students how to apply for admission, how to read the class schedule, how to register through MyWNC, how to access MyDSS to request accommodations and schedule exam appointments, and inform students on the resources available to them on campus. Answer phones, greet students, take messages, make reminder calls, assist with exam proctoring, and participate in department meetings. Assist with alternative text conversion and video captioning. Perform other duties as assigned.
