In order to be a Pedicab Driver in the city of Austin, TX; you are required to be licensed by the City of Austin. City of Austin Chauffeur Permits allow you to drive any vehicle for hire, meaning you could supplement your pedicab work with taxi, limo, and any other chauffeur employment or vice versa.

(if you have been a licensed driver in another state within 3 years you need a certified driving history from that state too)

National Fingerprint Background Check

Pass A Test that covered Austin City Code 13-2, Texas Driving Laws, And Austin Landmarks

If you have any moving violations within the past 3 years, you will need proof of taking a Defensive Driving
Class dated after the conviction date of the offense regardless of your driver’s license type
