Form of workProvide critical care to young patients in a supportive environment! This ongoing assignment offers a predictable 7 on/7 off schedule, no call requirements, and the chance to make a real difference in a Level II nursery setting.
Requirements & Credentials:
- Board-certified in Internal Medicine/Pediatrics
- Valid South Carolina medical license
- ACLS, BLS, NRP, and PALS certifications required
Practice Setting:
- A mix of inpatient & outpatient settings within a 116-bed hospital
- Manage an average census of 10-12 patients per day
- Provide comprehensive care exclusively to pediatric patients in a Level II nursery
Schedule:
- Shifts of 7 consecutive days followed by 7 days off
- No call requirements
Cases & Procedures:
- Cases consist of primarily pediatric cases that require critical care support
- Procedures required include ventilator management, intubation, central line placement
