Job Summary
We are seeking a Respiratory Therapistto fulfill a 13-week contract at a facility in Baltimore, MD. As a Pediatric Respiratory Therapist, you will be responsible for evaluating patients undergoing many different procedures and medical situations and making recommendations for an appropriate respiratory treatment plan. You may also provide respiratory care to medically fragile or complex patients, insert or remove endotracheal tubes, and work closely with the patient and their family to ensure they understand what is happening every step of the way. The ideal candidate has a patient, kind attitude with excellent bedside manner, a deep understanding of patient needs, and a strong grasp on respiratory regulations and best practices.

Responsibilities
- Meet with and evaluate a variety of patients
- Make recommendations on respiratory care based on their specific needs and situations
- Perform basic respiratory care, including inserting and removing tubes, adjusting machines, and more
- Work with both the family and the patient to ensure their needs are being met, and they understand what is happening.
- BLS
- PALS
- NRP
- RRT
- MD License required
- 1.5+ years of RT experience
- 24 Months Recent PICU Experience
- Skillset Requirements: Conscious sedation, telemetry, vents 18 months minimum experience required
