We are looking for a part-time Pediatric Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner orPhysician Assistant with psychiatric experience to join our team, part-time as an independent contractor. Very flexible schedule, blend of in person and remote.
We are a private clinical psychology practice specializing in pediatric and adult evaluations. Our team of clinical psychologists and educational psychologists perform comprehensive psychological and psychoeducational evaluations to assist with diagnostic clarification and treatment planning. This evaluation and report is often the first step to receiving psychiatric care or ancillary services.
The Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner or the Physician Assistant will be required to provide continuous and comprehensive medication management necessary for optimal mental health and treatment of psychiatric disorders to patients in an outpatient setting. The Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner or the Physician Assistant shall work collaboratively on-site and via Telehealth, with other medical and mental health providers.
REQUIREMENTS
3+ years of clinical experience as a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant with psychiatric experience.
Must be able to practice and prescribe independently and have an identified psychiatrist that is able to sign a collaborating agreement with Psychology 360.
An active full scope license and furnishing credential within the state of California.
Ability to work on-site and via Telehealth.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Perform initial, follow-up and continuing medication management to children, adolescents, transitional age youth, and adults who have been formally diagnosed through our practice.
Thrive in a multidisciplinary team environment.
Successfully adhere to system based practices relating to clinical care, safety and documentation standards through our electronic medical record platform.
Comply with organizational, departmental, state/federal guidelines & all regulatory agency policies and procedures.
Patient Care Management/Documentation
· Comprehensive patient evaluation to determine a differential diagnosis and plan for intervention that adheres to ethical medication management practices.
· Maintain confidentiality and patient privacy.
